EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: 
-Manage and oversee the editorial, production and promotion components of all weekend newscasts including overseeing production of news content on multi-platforms, providing guidance and direction to 20+ staff, and performing as a member of the news management team
-Coordinate with the news director and news operations manager in forming and executing the newsroom vision, while maintaining responsibility for the overall look, feel, and content of broadcasts. -Conceive and execute daily programs incorporating top news stories, live reports and production elements by deadline; handle breaking news.
-Manage and supervise on-air talent, content producers and production team.
-Organize and plan coverage of events; review daily line-up of stories and segments and develop future segments, stories and interviews for all platforms. --Write and review script copy for broadcasts, while partnering with producers to drive concise writing. -Confer with executives and production staff members regarding budgets, policies, news coverage of special events, and production problems.
-Originate and approve feature story ideas; submit ideas to personnel of assignment department for implementation.
-Approve all program content to include handling any issues or directions for changes or modifications. 

PRODUCER:
-Managed the entire production process and staff of a one-hour long daily newscast.
-Oversaw both the editorial content of the news and how it was produced and presented to the public.
-Developed two new hour long programs for the station line-up.
-Emmy winner for coordination of field coverage for Hurricane Irene in 2011.
-Utilized various social media tools and outlets to spread news and information to the public and community.
